I could never had photographed the flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds in the beautiful ways I did if it had not been for Adrian. He also readily took photos of the family throughout the tour. My wife, who was an art teacher, had not painted in years. Being with Adrian and his photographic tour, inspired her to start painting again. We all learned and benefitted so much in such a short time, and now we have these beautiful photos and the wonderful memories because of Adrian".
"I have been to Costa Rica before and wanted to return to do more photography. We went searching for photography tours and came upon Adrian Hepworth. The itinerary was exactly what I wanted to do. We were able to spend a week with Adrian photographing wildlife and nature scenes. I have been an amature photographer for many years and wanted to learn more about shooting digital photos on manual settings. He spent the week, starting out slow and making every day more challanging. I was pleased that at the end of the week I was able to shoot wildlife on the "fly" adjusting the camera as the situation changed. The resorts that we stayed at were wonderful with great food and opportunities to take pictures without driving anywhere. I am planning to return to Costa Rica to take more photos and will arrange another weeks expedition with Adrian."

The places we stayed were great, the food was excellent, the transportation was prompt and comfortable, and the local guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to photograph an amazing variety of wild-life and beautiful scenery. Both of us learned a great deal under Adrian’s patient instruction, and we returned home with a collection of photographs that are far better than we ever thought we could achieve.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to hone his or her photography skills, see some incredible scenery, and photograph an abundant variety of wildlife".

I have been taking photos for much of the last 30 odd years and Adrian really helped me make a jump in terms of results. The combination of his coaching and the extraordinary subject matter provided helped me progress my results. What was the biggest difference Adrian’s tuition made to me?
Once I have a shot that I’m pleased with, I ask myself, “What single biggest change would improve it?”.
I try that. I then ask the question again, and try it again. I repeat this process for as long is practical and my shots have changed dramatically between the start and end of the process. It may be composition, background, exposure, a dark shadow, bouncing flash, use of only natural light, whatever; there are so many things that can change a shot.
As a result of the week I am currently writing an article which I plan to submit to travel and photography magazines within the UK. The emphasis of the article will be around wildlife photography, the attraction of being coached by Adrian.a. I also now have enough confidence to enter some photography competitions to test myself against others and be judged.
Adrian fitted in with the family exceptionally well, he never stopped working with us from breakfast till bed time, (if we wanted), and stretched everyone taking photos.
As a result of the trip we arranged for my son and his partner to do another voluntary project in Cabuya for 2 months."
